The visual identity of Bitlazer pulls from early web interfaces and Unix-style command lines, embracing cyberpunk aesthetic that resonates with Bitcoin-native users, crypto nerds, and degens who value navigating complex systems. Inspired by Web 1.0, its brutalist graphics mirror Bitcoin Layer 3’s potential to scale like the early internet.
Complementing this aesthetic is OCR-X, a typeface inspired by OCR-A, originally designed for optical character recognition in early computing. Its utilitarian, monospaced letterforms evoke command-line interfaces and hacker culture, reinforcing Bitlazer’s ethos of transparency, readability, and efficiency.
The logo features custom angular, monospaced letterforms paired with neon-green lines reminiscent of lasers, capturing retro-futuristic interfaces. These visual choices reinforce the precision, clarity, and speed central to Bitcoin Layer 3, helping users quickly associate Bitlazer with speed and efficiency.
The UX centers around two main flows: depositing then staking or unstaking and withdrawing. Each action is broken down into clear, step-by-step instructions displayed on the left side, alongside a progress bar—so users always know where they are and what to do next, reducing friction and keeping things smooth. The screens are to be released.
